Psychosomatic therapy

‘Getting up in ‘here’ in the head and stuck in the story is how we deal with and escape from discomfort’ – Dr Gabor Mate

Psychosomatic therapy is a holistic approach that recognises the intricate connection between the mind and body, highlighting how psychological factors profoundly affect physical wellbeing.

In these transformative sessions, we delve into the interconnected realms of mind and body, exploring how emotional and psychological experiences manifest physically. Guided by the belief that understanding one's own emotions and traumas is pivotal, psychosomatic therapy offers a safe space to navigate the intricate connection between mental and physical wellbeing.

By using this holistic approach, clients uncover the root causes of distress and learn to integrate their experiences, fostering lasting change. These sessions empower individuals to observe and transform their emotional landscape, promoting healing on both psychological and somatic levels. Clients gain the tools to navigate and regulate difficult emotions and achieve a harmonious balance between mind and body.

For people who have tried other means of therapy but never achieved lasting results, psychosomatic therapy is the answer.

EMDR

‘Recollection without affect almost invariably produces no result.’ – Professor Van der Kolk

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation Repossessing) is a tool for individuals haunted by traumatic events, commonly used for PTSD, flashbacks, and triggers causing distress.

Beyond PTSD, EMDR addresses issues like addiction, overeating, childhood sexual abuse, and other traumas. This approach facilitates rapid access to past memories, aiding in contextualising and gaining perspective on traumatic experiences.

Effective in healing without extensive verbal revisiting, EMDR enables clients to observe trauma in a new way, spending minimal time revisiting the original trauma through repeated discussion.

EMDR liberates clients from the imprints of trauma.

For best results, it’s recommended to combine EMDR treatment with somatic experiencing sessions (one-on-one therapy sessions).

He who looks outside dreams, he who looks inside awakens.

Pre & Post Integration

‘Integration of altered states of consciousness is vital, its not a quick fix’

In recent years, there has been a resurgence in using altered states of consciousness for mental health healing, offering an alternative in the face of the growing mental health crisis.

I work with individuals worldwide who choose altered states of consciousness for healing, providing pre and post-integration support. I guide clients in reflecting on their experiences and identifying areas for further healing in the pre and post integration process.

When we use altered states of consciousness to heal, these states can reveal shadows, traumas, and areas requiring attention. This often lead to inner awakening and divine experiences, connecting individuals to the unconscious.

I draw from personal experiences of altered states of consciousness in the Amazon and Costa Rica. I guide others in their own transformation, healing, and awakening through various forms of altered states of consciousness (Kundalini rising, holotropic breathwork etc).

I completed the Mind Medicine Australia’s Clinical Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies training (CPAT) in 2024. This is an accredited course. I wanted to continue deepening my knowledge and skillset in this area. I bring a comprehensive understanding of various forms of altered states of consciousness.

Please note: I do not supply psychedelics or facilitate guided journeys.

Psychedelics take the knowing of something to feeling it.

Neurofeedback

Enquire Now

‘Is it a fact – or have I dreamt it – that by means of electricity, the world of matter has become a great nerve, vibrating thousands of miles in a breathless point of time?’ – Nathaniel Hawthorn

Neurofeedback is not a recent innovation; its use dates back to the early 1950s. This non-invasive treatment addresses trauma and neurological conditions, enhancing the brain's capacity for self-regulation, fostering flexibility, and resilience.

During Neurofeedback sessions, clients receive gentle electric pulses on specific brain areas, aiding in emotion regulation. Continued treatments empower clients to navigate trauma responses like flight, fight, freeze, or fawn.

Ideal for managing anger, PTSD, ADHD, and more, Neurofeedback reshapes brain networks, offering a medication-free approach. It effectively navigates trauma responses, providing relief from symptoms such as insomnia, irrational fear, and disassociation disorders.

This safe and research-supported technique is suitable for all ages, allowing individuals to better manage mental health symptoms without the need for verbal expression.

For further information or to discuss Neurofeedback treatment, please email us to schedule a consultation. Repeated sessions are recommended for optimal results.
